Day 1 – Friday 29 November 2019
Your tour will start with a flight to Prague. You flight with Aer Lingus departs Dublin at 10:55 and arrives Prague at 14:25. Please note that flight times are subject to change at the airline discretion.
On arrival in Prague, meet your local guide and transfer to the 4* Clarion Old Town where you are booked for three-nights on a bed and breakfast basis.

The Clarion Hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from Old Town Square in the historic centre of the city. Each room offers flat-screen cable TV, a laptop safe, a suit press, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Czech and international dishes are served at Restaurant Benada.

Day 2 – Saturday 30 November 2019
This morning we have a guided orientation of Prague city via coach and on foot of approximate 3.5 hours duration.
Our Prague City tour is a superb introduction to the city of Prague, a city known for its rich opulent beauty and epic history. Meet your local guide in hotel lobby and set off to learn about the history of Prague. The coach tour will introduce you to the major historical areas of Prague with Wenceslas Square at its heart, where the State Opera and National Museum look down on. Next, you will drive up to Prague Castle to discover the major sights within. Please do be aware that this is a very popular time for visit to Prague and there can be a queue into the castle district, this does however usually move quickly. Our guide will guide bring to life the magnificent buildings in the Castle district and explaining their turbulent history, and royal connections. Admire the grandeur of Saint Vitus Cathedral, the ancient architecture of the Old Royal Palace and take some time to visit the Christmas Markets located in the Castle. From Prague Castle, your guide will walk you down to the Vltava River, beginning with a flight of steps (the steps are lengthy, but wide and deep, and so fairly easy to walk down). The walk will take you across the city's most well-known historic attraction, the stunning Charles Bridge, which offers wonderful panoramic views of the city. The walk will take you through the fascinating Jewish Quarter, finishing in the Old Town at Prague’s famous Christmas markets. For refreshments, there is a short break half way through the tour.
Please note that sightseeing tour is part by coach and part on foot as some of the most historic areas of Prague are only accessible on foot. We recommend that you wrap up warm and wear comfortable shoes as the majority of the tour takes place on foot. This tour will not be suitable for those who have difficulty walking.
The afternoon is free for you to relax or further explore Prague. Why not visit the National Museum located at the top of Wencelsas Square, teh largest museum in the Czech Republic or simply take a seat at one of Prague’s many cafes and watch the world go by.
In the evening, a pre-concert three-course will be served in the hotel restaurant. At the end of dinner, coach transfer with your guide to Prague’s O2 arena for an evening of musical delight with Andrea Bocelli. Our seats are located downstairs in sector 006, in rows 3 and 4.
At the end of the evening, private coach transfer back to hotel.
Day 3 – Sunday 01 December 2019
Day at leisure to explore Prague independently and visit the Prague Christmas markets. Soak up the festive atmosphere, browse the stalls and enjoy Christmas carols, fabulous local food, hot mulled wine and more. Feast on local specialities such as Kolbása (smoky barbecued sausages), Trdelní¬k (sugar coated pastries, and shop at the many traditional wooden stalls which offer an array of local artisan trinkets, such as Czech crystal figurines, wooden toys and brightly painted puppets. In addition to the vibrant Christmas Markets, Prague also offers great high street shopping.
Day 4 – Monday 02 December 2019
Meet your local guide for coach transfer to airport for return flight. Flight departs Prague at 15:05 and arrives Dublin at 16:35
