This is a trekking trip. In order to reach the summit of Mount Toubkal, you need to be reasonably fit and healthy. Previous mountain climbing or hiking experience is recommended.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Marrakech - welcome meeting with fellow travellers and group leader, free time in Marrakech

Day 2: Transfer to Imlil village, hike to Aroumd (2000 metres above sea level) Total hiking time today is approximately 1 hour

Day 3: Neltner Hut/Mt Toubkal Base Camp (3207 metres above sea level) Total hiking time today is approximately 4 hours

Day 4: Neltner Hut/Mt Toubkal Summit (4167 metres above sea level) Total hiking time today is about 8 hours

Day 5: Hike back down to Imlil via Aroumd (approximately 4 hours), transfer to Marrakech

Day 6: Marrakech - Medina walking tour, Palais Bahia

Day 7: Marrakech - free time in Marrakech
