Day 1: Arrive in Vancouver

Arrive, check into your hotel, and spend the evening exploring the city or trying local restaurants on your own.

Day 2: Vancouver Sightseeing

Morning: Take a guided tour of the city's highlights, including Stanley Park, Chinatown, and the harbour.

Afternoon: Free time. Optional ideas include visiting the Granville Island Public Market or checking out the historic Gastown steam clock.

Day 3: Vancouver to Kelowna

Drive out of Vancouver through mountain forests and valleys to Okanagan Lake, arriving in the lakeside resort city of Kelowna.

Day 4: Kelowna to Banff National Park

Drive north through the Okanagan Valley.

Stop for photos at Rogers Pass (Glacier National Park) and pass through Yoho National Park before arriving in Banff for a quick orientation drive.

Day 5: Explore Banff

Morning: Take a short introductory tour of the town.

Afternoon: Free time to explore, hike, shop, or visit the hot springs. Optional excursions include a scenic helicopter ride or a shuttle out to Moraine Lake.

Day 6: Banff to Jasper via Lake Louise & Columbia Icefield

Morning: Stop to see the bright turquoise waters of Lake Louise.

Afternoon: Ride a giant, all-terrain "Ice Explorer" bus onto the 750-foot-thick Columbia Icefield.

Evening: Arrive in Jasper for a quick introductory tour.

Day 7: Explore Jasper

Free day to explore the town or spot wildlife. Optional activities include a boat cruise on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island or a scenic raft float trip down the Athabasca River.

Day 8: Jasper to Sun Peaks

Drive past Mount Robson (the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies) and follow the scenic highway south to overnight at the Sun Peaks mountain resort.

Day 9: Sun Peaks to Whistler

Drive along the historic Cariboo Wagon Trail, passing through the gold rush town of Lillooet and along Seton and Duffey Lakes, before arriving in the alpine village of Whistler.

Day 10: Free Day in Whistler

Spend the day exploring the 2010 Winter Olympic village. Optional excursions include a floatplane flight, a rainforest zipline tour, or riding the Peak 2 Peak Gondola.

Day 11: Whistler to Victoria

Morning: Catch a ferry across the strait to Vancouver Island.

Afternoon: Visit the famous Butchart Gardens and take a guided city tour of Victoria's Inner Harbour.

Day 12: Free Day in Victoria

Enjoy a full day to explore the city, walk the harbor, or shop. Optional excursions include high tea at the Empress Hotel or a whale-watching boat tour.

Day 13: Victoria to Vancouver & Home

Take the morning ferry back to the Vancouver mainland, where the tour wraps up.
