Difficulty Level:  / 4

In some sections you will be walking on forest trails and steep paths. We recommend a good basic fitness level for walking days of up to 5 to 6 hours as well as for longer ascents. Easier alternatives of the daily sections are possible by bus. A varied walking tour for lovers of promising trails.

Starting from your arrival in the famous spa town of Merano, you will witness the amazing vistas of the South Tyrol and Trentino mountain ranges. From vineyards and orchards, historic castles and sparkling tarns, to enormous plateaus and beautiful turqoise lakes the views will always be spectacular on this tour.

The peaks of the Dolomites which accompany you will give you an excellent feel for the fascinating alpine world of  the lonely and steep rugged giants.

In Trentino you will discover quaint mountain villages with winding narrow streets and beautiful stone house, before reaching the final destination of Lake Garda. Surrounded by high cliffs, enclosed by olive orchards, cypresses and fig trees you will really feel the Mediterranean flair.

This tour taking you to Lake Garda will often be taking place on the ancient water systems called Waal Paths. Other sections will be forest trails and steep paths, so we recommend a good basic level of fitness. Some easier alternatives of the daily sections are possible by bus.
